Crowds enjoy outdoor life at Warwickshire College campus

The rain that was threatened for Saturday held off for crowds who took part in and visited the Moreton Morrell show.

Families were able to watch livestock shows, sheep shearing demonstrations, donkey and pony displays, equine and tractor driving competitions and floristry demonstrations at the Warwickshire College campus in the village.

There was also a have-a-go dog agility area, dog obedience display and horse and hound competition, while college students showcased their talents through farriery demonstrations, construction activities and a plant and produce sale.

Visitors were able to have a look around the campus and speak to staff about the courses on offer, while they could also try their hand at pitch and putt, clay pigeon shooting and other outdoor activities.

The Moreton Morell campus is next holding an open day in October and a taster day for those interested in studying animal welfare and vet nursing on July 3.
