Cruse thankful for donation

The group, which raised more than £200,000 for charities in the area through organising the Regency Fun Run this year, chose to donate part of those funds to Cruse Bereavement Care Coventry and South Warwickshire, which supports people who are struggling to cope with the loss of a loved one.

The organisation is currently training more bereavement volunteers to cope with the increasing number of children and young people with mental problems arising from a bereavement within their family, support group or friends.

The donation from the Round Table will fund the support of ten children and families in the area.

Mark Chambers, chairman of Leamington Round Table, said: “This is exactly the kind of 
initiative we like to support. Round Table does great work in joining with local charities and fundraisers in order to better our communities and provide vital aid to those in need.”
