Festival brings active start to kids’ summer
Children from all over the Midlands joined in races and festivities at Kids Run Free’s second annual festival in Leamington.
The Leamington-based charity invited regular participants and supporters from its events from Leamington, Solihull, Stratford, Coventry, Birmingham, Leicester and Nuneaton to the festival at Newbold Comyn, which included running races, athletics, an inflatable maze, bouncy castle and a host of other fairground-style attractions.
Organisers said afterwards: “A huge thank you to all those who came along. It was a great day and there was a lot of miles covered. We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did.”
