Hide AdCllr Dave Shilton (Con, Kenilworth Abbey) the Warwick District Councillor responsible for policy on neighbourhood services, said: “Even though the recycling and rubbish collection teams are having a well-earned break on Christmas Day and Boxing Day they will be working over weekends to make sure everyone still gets a service.”
Recycling roadshows took place in Leamington, Warwick and Kenilworth this week where people could find out more about the Christmas collection timetable and swap plastic bags for eco-friendly carriers.
Recycled wrapping paper was also for sale.
