Firefighters called to car fire near Stretton on Dunsmore

Firefighters were called out to a car fire near Stretton on Dunsmore last night (Thursday).

At around 8.30pm Warwickshire Fire Control received several 999 calls to a car on fire on the A45 near Stretton on Dunsmore.

Two fire engines from Rugby Fire Station were sent to the scene.

Once the crews had arrived they found that the vehicle was well alight.

Firefighters extinguished the fire using breathing apparatus and a hose reel.
