Flashing red knickers lands Leamington man in court
“DO you like my panties?” is the question an unsuspecting woman was asked by a Leamington man as he pulled down his trousers to reveal the red women’s underwear he was sporting.
And this was not the first time Roger George Bannister, of St Mary’s Road, had indecently exposed himself in public. The 42-year-old has been ordered to take part in a community sex offender programme for 106 days for four counts of revealing the red underwear to women - three of whom he pursued in the street, while he approached the other woman at her home - between November last year and January this year.
Then in February Bannister exposed his genitals in a public place and ten days later he approached a woman in a car park, pulled down his trousers and masturbated.
After appearing before magistrates at the Warwickshire Justice Centre in Leamington on Monday June 27, he was also ordered to pay £375 compensation and £100 court costs.
