Golfers were in full swing for charities

Big Al’s Golf Day is an annual event organised by club member Alan Marron.

The event was previously held to raise cash for football teams Mr Marron has played for but this year he wanted to show support to Asda’s Tickled Pink Campaign as his wife Kerry has undergone treatment for breast cancer recently.

Almost £4,000 was raised by the event and this amount will be split between Breast Cancer Care and the Breast Cancer Campaign.

Mr Marron has thanked all of those who made the event a success.
