Have your say on tax reduction scheme in Warwick district
Council taxpayers across Leamington, Warwick, Kenilworth and surrounding areas are being asked for their views on the circumstances in which people are permitted to pay less council tax.
Warwick District Council is from April 2014 equired by the Government to put into place its own scheme for council tax reductions - which normally apply to people on a low income. Any changes that are made will affect all claimants who are of working age - regardless of their income - and should a scheme not be set up, the amount of funding available to the council for the service may be reduced.
