Hear the Salvation Army band

TAMBOURINES will ring when the Salvation Army holds its Christmas carol concert at Leamington town hall on Saturday December 11.

Rugby Salvation Army Band and St Paul’s Primary School choir will perform at the concert, which is taking place for the third year running, as well as traditional timbrels - tambourines with ribbons.

The evening will include a nativity play and a film about the organisation’s homeless action project in Leamington.

Church leader and organiser, envoy Leanne Willis said: “It’s a chance for people to come along, have a good sing and think about the real meaning of Christmas.”

Tickets cost £5 or £3 for children and are available at the Salvation Army shop in Bath Street or on the door. Proceeds will go to the homeless project.
