Leamington festival just as popular despite the rain

LEAMINGTON’s Peace Festival this year once again attracted large crowds despite the cool and wet weather during the weekend.

Live music on two stages, speakers, food and a range of stalls selling environmentally and eco-friendly products drew in hundreds from around the area to the Pump Room Gardens on Saturday and Sunday.

Organisers are inviting people with feedback on the festival or suggestions and ideas for improvement, as well as anyone interested in getting involved in next year’s event, to a meeting at the Brunswick Healthy Living Centre in Shrubland Street, Leamington, on Wednesday at 8pm.

A full report and photographs of this year’s festival will be published in this Friday’s Courier.
