Military parade in Leamington this Sunday

Leamington will on Sunday - for the first time - host the Warwickshire branch of the Royal British Legion’s annual county parade.

The Warwickshire County Army Cadets corps of drums will lead a parade of the Royal British Legion standards from county branches, veterans from the navy, army and air force associations and the Leamington navy, army and air cadets from Adelaide Road, along Dormer Place and on to the Parade, ending at All Saints’ church in Priory Terrace.

A service of remembrance will then be held before the parade will return along the same route, with a salute taken by the Lord Lieutenant of Warwickshire and the mayor of Leamington at the Pump Room.

The parade starts at 1.25pm, with the service beginning at 2pm and the return parade starting at 3pm.
