Missing Stratford man found safe
A man from Stratford-upon-Avon who went missing yesterday has been found safe.
Brendan Twissell, who is 57-years-old, was reported missing yesterday morning shortly after 10.30am.
Mr Twissell, who has Down syndrome, was reported missing after he left a community care group in The Avenue, in Bishopton.
Police launched an appeal yesterday to try and find Mr Twissell and searched throughout the night but were unsuccessful.
The police continued their search today and appealed for help from the public.
Mr Twissell was found safe this afternoon.
A spokesperson from Warwickshire Police said: “Warwickshire Police would like to thank members of the public and media for their help in locating Mr Twissell.”
