More than 300 jobs available at Aldi stores across Warwickshire

Aldi is recruiting for around 330 store positions across Warwickshire to support the supermarket’s continued expansion throughout 2015.

The company immediately requires around 165 Store Assistants, 100 Stock Assistants, and 25 Caretakers, as well as 24 Deputy Store Managers, 10 Assistant Store Managers and 2 Store Managers for its stores in Atherstone, Bedworth, Coventry, Rugby, Great Barr, Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon and Studley, including its recently extended stores on Paddox Close in Rugby and Kingswood Road in Nuneaton, and its new store in Stafford, which is due to open next year.

Candidates with numerical skills are being targeted for Aldi’s Store and Stock Assistant positions, to carry out responsibilities such as accurate and efficient till operation, stock management and merchandising.

Full training will be provided for Store Assistants over a six week period and roles are available from 15 to 30 hours a week, with salaries starting at £8.15 per hour and a realistic prospect of progression. Stock Assistants roles start from 10 hours per week, with a starting salary of £7.25 per

hour and 28 days annual leave.

Candidates who possess retail or people management experience are being targeted for Aldi’s managerial positions, including Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager roles.

Aldi is particularly looking for candidates who have experience managing teams of at least eight people for its Assistant Store Manager roles which start at £24,500, and is seeking people with a passion for retail management for its Deputy Store Manager positions.

Deputy Store Managers are expected to work closely with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager and will have the responsibility of managing the store team in their absence. Deputy Store Manager roles start from 30 hours per week, with a starting salary of £9.15 per hour rising to £10.75
