Morrisons in Leamington selected for Halal sweets trial

The store in Old Warwick Road started trialling them in its Pick N Mix range this week.

In total, 36 Halal sweets will be available, such as liquorice sticks, jelly beans and cola bottles.

Mike Toth, store general manager of Morrisons Leamington, said: “Many customers have asked us about Halal sweets, so we have designed and introduced a new range.

“We are the first big supermarket in the UK to do this. It’s a large range - so we hope that it will provide a sweet treat for every taste.”
