And when young visitors are not travelling back through the centuries on the Eternity Engine tractor, trying to avoid raptors, dinosaurs and the T-Rex, they’ll be playing cowboys in the Wild West carnival, with tin-can shootouts, hobby horse rodeo and the chance to try their hand at lassoing.
Manager Richard Craddock said: “We’ve added some really exciting attractions for this year’s Summer Spectacular, including a new jungle maze where children crawl through trenches and tunnels in search of cut-outs of wild animals, and take on various challenges to claim a mystery prize.”

Hide AdSlithering snakes and bearded dragons in the reptile house and racing sheep and goats are also among the entertainment, along with children’s shows, indoor soft play and bouncy castles, together with falconry, duck trials, a funfair, farmyard animals and a guinea pig village.
“There is also the new ‘adventurers challenge’, presenting older children with a series of tests - including an assault course, panning for gold and two giant slides. It will also take them to the new reptile house, falconry centre and the sheep racing arena,” said Richard.
