Amazing total for this year’s Poppy Appeal

Thank you to the management of the Royal Priors for allowing the RLS branch to hold the launch of the Poppy Appeal on their premises again, which was a huge success.

Having the Poppy Shop at the top of the Parade has been a huge benefit for the appeal and for the branch with membership inquiries. Any more interested parties should ring 01926 882767 . A huge thank you goes to Wareing & Co., Wanzle for the racking and to the Coventry Building Society personnel for volunteering their time and advice. As well as all those people who volunteered their time to help run the shop. Far too many to mention everyone, sorry.

I would also like to thank all the volunteer collectors this year. Without your help, we could never get the job done so well (even when it’s raining), especially the cadet forces as once again, your help has been valuable. Looking forward to the Lord Lieutenant’s Cadets Awards when they are held next year.
