Church bells will be silent until Christmas

The bells of the parish church bring joy, I know, to many people. They will soon be ringing out again, but will be silent from next week until Christmas as work is carried out in the bell tower.

My apologies to those who look forward to hearing them, and I am especially sorry that they will not be rung on Remembrance Sunday.

The worship and other activities of the church continue as normal.
