HS2 announcement is to be applauded

For too long governments have been constrained by a culture of short term planning and nimbyism.

At last we can start to move forward with this vital project to provide a futuristic link north/south to London and the continent.

This will bring much needed jobs, trades, professions and business over the next decade to Warwickshire and beyond. In an age of ever increasing unemployment this will secure the future for some and help us as a country to keep up with the advances in transportation that others have clearly embraced.
