Internet cabinets should not be allowed

‘Retrospective planning’ for these broadband cabinets should not be allowed. We have them at each end of our residential road alongside privet hedges. All kinds of rubbish; bottles, cans, fast food, babies’ nappies etc. are conveniently dropped behind them. They also attract graffiti.

A planning notice was put up in a nearby road and removed. It would appear that BT makes its own rules for these installations in the front of properties. While we remove the graffiti, which department is responsible for regular clearance of the accumulated litter and fast food? Or is it to be left, a takeaway for the rats and urban foxes? - B.Dee, via ema
