As youth team manager at Racing Club I am delighted that Curly O’Callaghan and Tony Clarke have been appointed to manage first team affairs at Racing Club.

Turning Racing Club around has been a long and difficult road and we are even more determined to continue improving things both on and off the pitch. However, we are aware that we can not do this on our own and we would welcome any support from people and companies in Warwick and the surrounding areas, whether that be financial help through sponsorship or just wanting to get involved with the club.

We currently have our Mini Racers sessions that run on a Sunday morning for children in reception, year one and year two which should help us to introduce more junior teams next season, starting with Under 8s. We are also recruiting for our youth team (U18) now and I would encourage any players out there who feel they have the ability and desire to play Midland Floodlit League youth football to contact us.

Obviously, more teams next season means that we require more coaches and helpers. Therefore, if you are an established coach looking for a new challenge at junior or youth level or are looking to start out on a coaching career, or if you just want to volunteer to help at the club, especially on matchdays, then please contact Phil Haycock on 07793731835. - Phil Haycock, via email.
