Smashing friends would be an asset
Last night a young man came to my front door: “It wasn’t me who broke your window, but my friend and he’s too scared to come and see you, but he wanted you to have this money.” Folded into a piece of paper was £60.
The paper said: “Hopefully this money will find me forgiveness from you. The window was a huge mistake. If I could I would give you more money to replace it, but I’m not working yet. Very sorry about it all.”
