Use this valuable service
There are quite a number of people in Warwickshire suffering from Dementia so why is it that a day care centre in Lillington, offering a service three days each week, that has only been open some 16 months is now in danger of being closed down due to a lack of clients.
This centre has been an absolute lifeline to me over the last few months. A few hours of respite gives me time to get some of those jobs done that are difficult when my husband is ‘helping’ me and a little bit of ‘me’ time, giving me the strength to carry on for another week
Anyone caring for a loved one suffering from dementia will appreciate how this feels and what a godsend such day care opportunities are. So why is such an opportunity being missed by so many? There are few enough of these centres so we should not loose this one.
