Well done for a superb show

On Monday July 14 I went to the Kenilworth School production of Les Miserables, to say that this was a fantastic team effort would be an understatement.

Everyone of the audience could not have failed to have been moved by the dedication and talent that was on display from the children, musicians and lighting/sound crew. The teachers have worked tirelessly out of school hours to nurture these children and encourage them to give their best performances. This production was worthy of performing in a large theatre, the scenery and special effects made it very realistic and the casting was inspired.

Every child seemed to be thoroughly enjoying themselves even the ones who had solo parts but it was when they all came together that you felt that this was something very special. Hopefully they could tell from the enthusiastic audience that we were all having a wonderful time.

This is to say well done to the teachers and staff who have guided them through exams, lessons and now the production of a show and wish them a relaxing summer break, and to the children, really well done, you are all stars! I am already looking forward to next year’s production.
