Paul Daniels will launch new headquarters for Mask-arade

CELEBRITY magician Paul Daniels and his assistant Debbie McGee will open the new headquarters of Southam-based mask company Mask-arade on Saturday.

The event will take place at Albion House in Southfield Road from noon to 3pm with the unveiling of a special plaque taking place at 1pm.

Mr Daniels, who met the company’s directors during a show at Napton village hall last year, will be performing at the Spa Centre in Leamington later in the day.

Mask-arade has printed thousands of masks of the magician and his assistant and people are encouraged to wear one in tribute to the couple at the launch.

Dean Walton, a joint director alongside Ray Duffy and Chris O’Nyan, said: “It has been all hands to the pump trying to get everything ready for the event.

“We have 500 masks signed by celebrities and framed and covering an office wall with them takes time.

“We’re inviting everybody we can.”

From humble beginnings in a bedroom followed by a garage and a barn, Mask-arade has gone from strength to strength and now employs seven full-time staff. Call 814292 or visit www.printedmasks.com
