Award-winning Leamington butcher will launch nationwide meat and cheese box delivery service next month

When lockdown was announced in March the butcher used its surplus stock it had left after the closure of restaurants to deliver more than 10,000 meals to those most in need in and around Leamington.

It was through this that the family-run business developed the idea to deliver its produce to homes around the country.

Russell Allen, the founder and director of Aubrey Allen, said: "We have talked about having an online site for a while but wanted to do something that really relfected our brand and relationship with chefs.

"The idea was first hatched when talking about what to buy the food lover who has everything.

"We want to deliver a fantastic meat lover's box and some stunning artisan cheese boxes.

"There is nothing quite like this on the market and with gift vouchers available it also creates great gifting and corporate gifting ideas as we approach Christmas."

Lucianne Allen, the company's marketing director, said: "We're delighted that so many leading chefs are endorsing this for us.

"Michelle Roux Jr announced this for us last week and we have collborated with a very special well known chef for a French-inspired meat box.

"We are working with other chefs to promote some of our long-standing partnerships and will be bringing these on board each month."
