"Following our appeal we received a number of calls and while formal identification is yet to take place, we believe the man to be a 65-year-old from Leamington.

“Our thoughts remain with the man’s family at this difficult time who are being supported by specially trained officers.

“While investigations are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding this incident, we would still like to hear from anyone who may have been in the area between midnight and 6am on Friday morning and may have seen something or has dashcam footage that could assist with our enquiries.”
