The Leamington Poppy Appeal team are getting ready for their annual launch but things are set to be different this year.
Last year the team of volunteers set up a 'poppy shop' inside the former Virgin Media unit inside the Royal Priors Shopping Centre which featured displays and tables full of different poppy-themed products.

Patricia Edgington, organiser of the Leamington Poppy Appeal, said "We are pleased to say that hopefully the poppy shop will be able to be open again this year in the Royal Priors, although, due to coronavirus, for less days and shorter hours.
"Obviously restrictions will be in place but we hope you will bear with us while we are running the Appeal.
"There are a limited amount of poppy boxes in Cubbington, Lillington, Whitnash, Bishops Tachbrook and the Milverton area should anyone not feel safe in going into town.
