"Following recent government guidelines for Covid-19 and the clear need to continue social distancing for the foreseeable future, we do not feel it is possible to continue with Art in the Park 2020.

“We were expecting over 160 artists to exhibit, 15 musicians to perform, 20 different workshops to engage, charities to humble and inspire us, all with amazing food and drink enjoyed by visitor numbers to match previous years.

"There has been a great deal of planning that has already gone on, and it is devastating to the artists and delivery team to not be going ahead, but we need to prioritise everyone’s safety. “

"Our main objective of this festival is to showcase artists’ work and by doing so, inspire the wider public.

"We are currently looking into different ways we could meet this target.

"You will be able to find out more information on our website and social pages as things progress.

"Please continue to follow us, and support local artists during this very hard time.

"We are very much looking forward to everyone joining us on August 7 and 8 2021 to make this event the best Leamington Art in the Park Festival yet.

"Stay safe and stay inspired."
