The event, postponed until October 18, will involve runners completing five laps of the racecourse.

The #LeamHalfOnTour race, along with The Alcester 10k (October 4) and Reindeer Run (November 29), make up the three-race bundle which runners can take part in for £65.

"With lots of races and events across multiple sports being cancelled, we were even more determined to put on the Leam Half in some form, and although we acknowledge the race will be somewhat different this year, we hope the novelty of it and the three-race bundle will be attractive to lots of people," said Christopher McShane from Raceways.

"We exist to help lots of people achieve a running goal, but we also fund the national charity Kids Run Free.

"Their programmes and indeed funding have been severely-impacted by the closure of schools and lack of group activity in parks, so everyone who runs in the Leam Half, Alcester 10k and/or the Reindeer Run will be directly-contributing to this wonderful organisation," he added.
