Hide AdIt is believed the increase in visitors to the park after the first UK lockdown has lead to more rats being seen feeding off of dropped food scraps.
And a young litter has been seen feeding around the clock tower.
Warwick District Council has said: "Warwick District Council’s pest control team is continuing with its programme of measures to control rats in Jephson Gardens.
"The Council has placed signage on the gates and near the bird feeding areas advising visitors to take due care when feeding the ducks and birds, so as not to leave excess food which could encourage rats.
"We will continue to review the situation and the public information notices we have in and around the park."
