Staff and residents at a care home in Rugby have been taking part in a weekly wave as part of a national campaign to combat loneliness.

Activities co-ordinator Leah Kempe said: "Lilbourne Court care home we have been taking part in Wednesday Wave, a scheme by Vamos Theatre to help isolated people feel less alone."

The waving takes place on Wednesdays at 3pm from October 14 until December 16.

We are showing our support by waving with our residents outside our home and to residents who like to stay independent in their bedrooms.
