His house portraits are especially popular but one of Mark's most popular prints is of the Pump Rooms in Leamington.

Mark says that his work is all about travel, architecture and colour and that it is this combination that has been the main foundation of his work since he began painting.

The painting of Leamington Bowling Club was commissioned by a family who have many happy memories of Archery Road as well as The Cricketers pub.

He said: "The painting was actually a commission for a couple who love Archery Road, The Cricketers and The Bowling Club.

"I have wanted to paint Archery Road for a number of years now but have always been been too busy travelling and painting.

"I think what appeals in the area is the mix of colourful houses, the beautiful architecture of the Bowling Club as well as all that large green open space with the Cricketers right in the centre of all the action.

"Archery Road itself has some beautifully painted buildings to the left hand side of The Cricketers (after the pink house). Incidentally the Leamington Spa Bowling Club will be hosting the 2022 Commonwealth Games lawn bowls and para bowls competitions and the clubhouse and Archery Road will be a perfect backdrop for it.

"Every year I show my work at Art in the Park and it normally coincides with the Bowls Championships and so have met a lot of bowling fans who also come to Jephson Gardens to have a look at the art on show.

"A number of them have also commented that I should paint the bowling club, and so when the opportunity of the commission came up, I jumped at the chance.

"Painted during the first lockdown - the scene brings some colour and shines a light to a time when we could all get together to enjoy joyful pursuits."

Mark's work can regularly been seen at the Christmas craft markets on the Parade in Leamington, at Art in The Park and at the Craft Markets at Waterside in Stratford.

Prints of 'Leamington Spa Bowling Club and The Cricketers' are now available to purchase on Mark's website at www.markkaiserart.com as well as a number of other scenes in the area including Leamington, Warwick, Stratford, Kenilworth and Southam.

Mark will also be showing his work at the Christmas Craft markets on the Parade in Leamington, starting on Sunday (December 6) and then every Sunday until Christmas.
