"It’s hard to know how many took part but we had around 25 stood outside and then many joining in from their windows and balconies."

Gethin held the service with the aim of spreading some festive cheer and said the event was well received.

"A few residents thanked me on the night itself and spoke of how they had appreciated the event.

"I would like to do something like this again, although we are moving soon.

"One resident did joke by saying she hoped we were moving to the flat next door as she would love to do something like this again.

"I would like to thank all those that came along and I hope it raised spirits.

"It's been lovely to see such community during the last few months and I do hope that when society returns to “normal” (whatever that means and whatever that looks like), people don’t forget the impact of such simple, communal gestures - a smile as you pass on the street or a 'thank you' or 'well done'."
