David Mond, visiting professor, department of global sustainable development and emeritus professor of mathematics at the University of Warwick, said: “We’re running the competition for two reasons.

Warwickshire Climate Alliance

"First to raise awareness of climate change because we, humanity, seem unable or unwilling to change our ways enough to avert disaster and we think that young people need to understand the threat that they especially are facing.

"We also hope that through their creativity, young people may find ways of waking us all up. Perhaps they can help us find ways of facing this challenge.”

Rules and details of how to enter can be found at the Warwickshire Climate Alliance website www.warwickshireclimatealliance.orgThe closing date for entries is Saturday 3 April 2021 and the winners will be announced in June.
