Police block ‘boy racers’ from using south Leamington road

Police have blocked off part of a road in Leamington to stop ‘boy racers’ from using it.

A message on Warwickshire Police’s website says: “Boy racers who repeatedly used a part of Tancred Close causing anti-social behaviour will from now on be greeted by three solid cement blocks.

“After months of police patrols and liaising with the businesses in Tancred Close we have managed to decrease the number of incidents.

“Through partnership working we have blocked the entrance to the mostly frequented area.”
