Police are appealing for witnesses after an irreplaceable war medal was stolen in a Leamington burglary

A house in Princes Drive was broken into sometime between 9am on Saturday July 25 and just after midday on Tuesday July 28.

A Second World War campaign medal bearing the image of King George VI was stolen in the burglary. The medal, which resembles a silver coin, dates back to between 1939 and 1945 and has the words “war medal” inscribed on it.
