£1.5 million for “raw” Warwick home
Number 2 Northgate Street, right next to historic St Mary’s church, does have the potential for six bedrooms. A garden, plus a large new double garage, have already been added.
But any new purchaser will have to buy it, as seen, before completing the work to their own specifications.

Hide AdCharlie Smith, the Mayfair-based estate agent who will handle the sale of all 18 properties on the row, said: “Northgate Street has been described as the finest eighteenth century street in the Midlands and it will be fascinating to watch developers Ash Mill Developments, which is particularly skilled in restoring heritage buildings, turn these faded county education offices back into the glorious houses they once were.”
More than 200 enquiries have already been made from potential buyers. Delays caused by archaeological digs and other factors put back the start of the actual renovation work.
As well the first house being sold “raw”, three others are being marketed as “shells” to be fitted as required, with the final 14, including a show house at number ten, offered as finished homes.
