Record-breaking bird spotted in Rugby
Having heard reports of a peregrine falcon being photographed at St Andrew’s Church over the weekend he went to have a look but to no avail.
He was returning to his car at the top of the Clock Towers car park when he saw it on Crown House.

He got a selection of shots and added: “It’s not unknown to find them in cities with tall buildings, for example Birmingham has a pair breeding on the BT tower, but it the first that I have known of in Rugby.
“They will normally be found on the side of a cliff but they are increasingly being found on high buildings where there is an abundance of food, in Rugby’s case, that will be the large pigeon population.”
