Rugby needs a Primark - petition launched

We've had a flood of big names come to Rugby since the new-look Elliott's Field opened '“ but Primark has not been one of them and now a petition has been launched to try to get the fashion chain here.

The petition has been launched on the change.org website by Beth C, inviting people to sign up and support the following statement: “Rugby is a city which is growing really fast and has lack of clothing stores. It would be very useful for this city and his population having a store like Primark.”

At the time of writing the petition has attracted nearly 150 signatures.

Coventry has a massive Primark in the old Owen Owen building but the company continues to grow – this time last year it opened in the new Gateway retail park in Banbury, pictured here, a development not unlike Elliott’s Field.
