Santas will be dashing in Myton Hospice event

NEVER mind Santa’s reindeer, the man himself will be doing all the running at a forthcoming festive fundraising event.

Myton Hospice’s Santa Dash will take place at Warwickshire Exhibition Centre on the Fosse Way on Sunday December 11.

Entrants can walk or run the 6km route and are encouraged to raise as much money as possible for completing the challenge.

And to add to the fun, Father Christmas suits will be given to entrants when they register.

Charlotte Ingram, Myton Hospice’s events manager, said: “This is a fantastic, fun event and what better way to get into the festive spirit than by helping such a worthy cause.

“It was wonderful to see so many people taking part last year and we hope the event will be even bigger this time.”

Registration costs £10 for adults and there will be a free 100m dash for children aged under 13.

The charity’s annual Christmas fayres are taking place at both its Warwick and Coventry sites in November.
