This will include a classic car show featuring an E-Type Jaguar, a mini farmers’ market and the headline attraction the Sheep Show.

Jeremy Ireland, project leader for the Mary Portas Bid Old Town team, said: “A sheep will be led down the Old Drovers path from the Spa Centre, along the path through Jephson Gardens and over the Mill Bridge, and past Satchwell Court.

“This marks the site of the path that led animals from as far as Wales, past Satchwell Court, one of the area’s oldest buildings, to a market now in Court Street, but roughly where the historic market was held in pre-Regency times, where High Street meets Bath Street.

“Children and Families are welcome to follow along and find their way to the Sheep Show using the sheep as their guide.”

The Sheep Show is a humorous award-winning educational live stage show about sheep and wool.
