Six hurt in Rowington crash

SIX people were taken to hospital following a collision in Rowington on Saturday.

Ambulance crews and the Midlands Air Ambulance were called to Old Warwick Road at around 4.35pm to find two cars had been in collision, one of them having careered down an embankment.

The driver of this car, a woman in her 40s, was removed from the vehicle, having suffered suspected neck and spinal injuries, while the passenger, a man in his teens, was already out of the car and had minor injuries.

A passenger of the other car was treated for leg and pelvic injuries, the female driver was treated for a back injury, and two other passengers were treated for mimor injuries at the scene. All six were taken to Warwick Hospital.
