Sixth formers’ Christmas lunch brings cheer to the elderly
Around 60 elderly people from care homes in south Warwickshire and grandparents of pupils enjoyed a Christmas lunch organised by Princethorpe College sixth formers.
As well as a roast turkey meal, the guests were treated to entertainment by Crackley Hall School’s Chamber Choir. Event organiser, assistant head of sixth form Anne Allen, said: “This was our biggest Christmas lunch to date and our sixth form volunteers were, as always, wonderful at serving refreshments and sharing their time with some of our oldest members of the local community.”
