Students’ ice cream concept delights judges

COHERENT and enterprising students at Kineton High School impressed professionals to scoop top prize with their ice cream company idea.

The Moolicious Ice Cream team was judged to be the best by a panel including Beverley Dunkley from the Banbury-based chocolate maker Barry Callebaut, deputy headteacher Chris Sammons, assistant headteacher John Leahy and school business manager Fiona Hawkins, who praised the group for their “coherent” and “well thought through” product and presentation.

Students competing in their Who Wants To Be An Entrepreneur? competition were challenged to create a new snack food product, which included, working in tutor groups, coming up with product concepts, names, packaging, promotional ideas and business plans.
