Summer serenade for Castel Froma and Helen Ley

Tickets are now available for a summer’s afternoon of musical entertainment planned to raise much-needed funds for a recently expanded Leamington charity and due to take place on Sunday.

The summer concert will feature three 30-minute slots of music by English composers, with light refreshments served during the entertainment.

The event is being hosted by the charity’s League of Friends at the Helen Ley Care Centre on Bericote Road,

Performances will be by the Orchestra of the Swan.

Chairman of the League of Friends, Michael North, said: “We hope everyone will come along to support this event, which we are hosting as part of our campaign to involve the community more in the great work of Castel Froma across its two local care centres, and to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

“Given the recent merger of Castel Froma and Helen Ley, funds are needed more than ever.

“At only £12.50 a ticket, this must be one of the entertainment bargains of the year.

“All proceeds will help improve the lives of people with brain injuries or neurological conditions.”
