Supermarket workers help with litter pick

The store called on people to choose areas which were most in need of a clean up and the team went to work with litter pickers and bin bags.

Simon Milligan, the store’s community life colleague, said: “we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who suggested areas for us to target and those who joined us for the litter pick.

“What hope what we did made a difference, we should be proud of where we live and work and make it an attractive safe and clean place.”
