Supermarket’s gift to dementia care home

Elderly people with dementia at Sycamores care home in Sydenham can look forward to a more appealing garden, thanks to a £200 donation from its neighbouring Asda store.

The sum was handed over by store manager Robert Mutch and Asda community champion Simon Milligan to Sycamore’s manager Jo Parry and resident Beryl Grimes after shoppers at the supermarket voted for it to support the home.
