Swimming club raises £500 in memory of Pte Conrad Lewis
LEAMINGTON Swimming Club raised £500 for The Afghanistan Trust by collecting donations in memory of former member Conrad Lewis.
Chief coach Mike Hartwell presented a cheque to Pte Lewis’s sister Siobhan and mother Sandi at a recent squad session.
Pte Lewis, who would have been 23 on Friday, was killed while serving with the Parachute Regiment in Afghanistan in February. The trust supports members of the regiment.
