Teamwork and tactics won league for Southam
BUDDING footballers at Southam Primary School are celebrating after bringing home the silverware this year.
The school’s team won the South Warwickshire Small Schools League and went on to win 5-0 in the final against All Saints Primary School in Leek Wootton.
Headteacher Emma Longworth praised the children and everyone who coached them.
She said: “The boys achieved this through team playing and the excellent tactical decisions of Mr Willis and Mr Cousens.”
