Teenager evades Warwick street robber

The 18-year old woman was walking along the pathway near to Longbridge Manor, just off the A429 Stratford Road on the outskirts of Warwick, near to Longbridge Roundabout, at around 3.15pm when she was approached by a man who asked her for a cigarette and other items which she refused to hand over.

He then blocked her path and took a swing at her, but she managed to duck out of the way and run off.

The man is described as being a white male, around 6ft tall, medium build, unshaven and in his late 30s or early 40s.
